Music has always been part of our lives, and a while ago we decided it made more sense to build the tool we needed together than to keep searching for it on the market.
We are not a startup with outside investment or a big team.
We are two people who take what they do seriously: Eliseu on product, vision, and artist relations; Ferran on development.
Everything in Zoundroom has passed through our hands.
One day, while writing music, I (Eliseu) stopped and looked around.
I had demos in my phone recorder, lyrics in Notes, song fragments in WhatsApp, files in Google Drive, ideas scribbled in a notebook…
Finished songs mixed with ten-second snippets.
Half-finished projects I could not even remember.
I had created the perfect chaos.
And the worst part was not the mess: it was knowing that somewhere in that chaos there were good ideas that would never become songs because I would not find them in time.
I looked for an app that brought all of that together in one place.
Something designed specifically for the songwriting process: not a DAW, not a file locker, not a social network for musicians.
A home for music in progress.
It did not exist.
So we built it.
We live in a time when AI music-generation tools are everywhere.

We believe that is the opposite of what a musician needs.

Zoundroom was born in Valencia in 2025.
We are part of the Barcelona Music Tech ecosystem and a startup accelerated by Lanzadera, Juan Roig's accelerator in Valencia.
